Youngsville wants its new neighbors to feel right at home in its part of southwestern Franklin County. After all, its town's motto is "My Home Town." Its residents are proud of how they have welcomed growth while maintaining their small-town charm and historic roots that date back to 1839 when it was known as "Pacific." Back then, the growth in the town was due in part to crops like cotton and related businesses. In fact, by 1900, this town was one of the largest tobacco markets in the South.
Today, the growth of Youngsville is related to its proximity to the Research Triangle region of North Carolina, which includes Raleigh, Cary, and Durham, and is known for its technology, educational, and medical-related fields. Those who call Youngsville home may also commute to nearby Wake Forest. For fun, Falls Lake State Recreation Area is only a short drive away.

Falls Lake State Recreational Area has scenic trails and waterfronts offering visitors opportunities for boating, fishing, or camping. Last but not least, E. Carroll Joyner Park contains historic structures, community events, playgrounds, and more!
