With 2025 in full swing, we’re busy and grateful to be building your homes with care here at Eastwood Homes. Before we find ourselves too far into the new year, we wanted to take time to look back at our accomplishments and highlights from 2024. We couldn’t have had such a successful and joyful year without the help of our amazing team and fantastic homebuyers!
Last year, we introduced many new communities to our Eastwood family. In South Carolina, we introduced Academy Park and Parker’s Preserve to our greater Charleston areas. We also welcomed a new, previously out-of-market city to our offerings – Aiken, SC. With two communities Now Selling and two Coming Soon, we have already made our mark on this historic town.
Our North Carolina market saw many additions as well, including Grove Park, Redland, Wexford, and Chandler Ridge in the greater Triad areas. We opened Grier Meadows in Charlotte, NC in 2024 and have already sold 48 homes in this bustling community.
We also opened Greenhouse in Glen Allen, VA, a luxury community located north of Richmond, as well as Marble Tree in Ball Ground, GA.
In order to respond to market trends and our customer's needs, we’re also always adding new floorplans here at Eastwood Homes. The Chamberlayne floorplan is a beautiful new product to Virginia featuring a first-floor primary bedroom. As our most spacious townhome, the Chamberlayne provides a functional living space for our homebuyers. Also home to Virginia, the Carrington is another one of our new townhome floorplans that offers a garage with unfinished storage and main-level living with bedrooms on the third floor. The Marshall is one of Virginia’s new townhomes that offers a garage with unfinished storage and main-level living with bedrooms on the third floor.
The Triad area in North Carolina saw several floorplan additions as well, including the Mayfair, Wescott, Edgefield, Fenwick, Burton, Richfield, and Whitlock. With the exciting addition of Marble Tree in Ball Ground, GA, we’ve introduced three new exciting alley-served floorplans to our Georgia market: Abbeyville, Brinson, and Aria. In South Carolina, our floor plans in Charleston expanded from 16 plans to a wide selection of 40 different plans, giving our clients even more options to choose from!
Last year marked a significant milestone for our Charlotte Build On Your Lot Division, with 22 sales and 21 closings/key exchanges – a testament to the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of our incredible BOYL team. We’ve seen tremendous growth to this division with new team members and expanded roles that have strengthened our ability to deliver the exceptional service and quality our homebuyers have come to expect.
In 2024, we hosted two major events that brought our team, clients, and partners together. Our Realtor Appreciation Event was a fantastic opportunity to thank the realtors who have supported us throughout the year in helping build homes for our clients. We also celebrated those realtors who continue to assist in bringing new homeowners’ dreams to life. Our Home Buyer Appreciation Drop-In was another wonderful event, where we invited many of our clients—whether they were closing soon or had just moved into their new homes. The event featured quick bites, prizes, games, and, most importantly, allowed us to express our heartfelt appreciation for their trust in us to build their homes.
Our coverage area has grown to 44 counties across the greater Charlotte areas of North and South Carolina. We’ve also added some exciting new farmhouse elevations to our plans, which have been met with great enthusiasm from our clients. The smiles on our clients' faces after receiving their keys were a constant source of pride for us this year. Their joy reminds us of the difference we make in their lives.
In 2024, we celebrated 16 incredible sales and proudly closed 2 homes. We’re heading into 2025 strong with 14 new starts, setting the stage for an even more successful year ahead! In August, we made the big move into our new building, and we’ve been building and growing ever since. We proudly opened our brand-new Design Center from the ground up with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that same week. We’ve expanded our reach and now have a presence in 4 counties across the greater Charleston area, increasing our footprint and serving more clients than ever!
The past year was a huge year for the expansion of our Build On Your Lot offering. In 2024, we expanded this initiative to the Raleigh/Durham areas of North Carolina, as well as the greater Greenville area of South Carolina. We can’t wait to see all of the success and joy that this brings to our organization and our future homebuyers!
In addition to building quality homes with care, our team is also very passionate about giving back to our community. Eastwood Homes is especially proud of its philanthropic partnership with Levine Children's Hospital. We donate a portion of every home that we sell in the Charlotte market to the hospital, and also raise funds for Levine Children's through our annual charity golf outing, the Eastwood Classic. In 2024, Eastwood Homes raised $185,000 for Levine Children’s Hospital through the Eastwood Classic. Our teams in Charlotte also attended an annual favorite—Lights for Levine—where we gather on top of a parking deck to spread holiday cheer and lights to the children and families at Levine Children’s Hospital.
We saw the need for aid from our neighbors in Western North Carolina due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. Eastwood Homes employees, family, and friends—alongside the Stewart Family—successfully raised an incredible $30,000 to support the vital work of Samaritan’s Purse in the wake of the storm.
In Richmond, our VP of Sales, Amy Druhot, and New Home Specialist, Michelle Puletti participated in helping Long and Foster donate helmets and Bikes to Toys for Tots, ensuring the safety and smiles for children this holiday season. Our Richmond sales team also volunteered for the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree, checking bags and shopping for seniors in the Silver Bells program, and we had members of the team participate in Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build. Amy also attended a mission trip with Homes for Hope earlier in the year.
Our Atlanta team donated to Home Aid Georgia for the annual GAHBA & SMC Silent Auction. Team Atlanta also sponsored the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s Backyard Builder Bash where Builders throughout Atlanta had a field day of friendly competition.
Here at Eastwood Homes, we’re more than co-workers – we’re a family and a team. We show our appreciation to our team members through events and team-bonding. In 2024, we worked hard and had fun while doing it! Our Atlanta sales team had a “New Home Specialist Appreciation Day” full of golfing and spa-day activities. Our builders in Atlanta also bonded over golf for some friendly competition and great time spent together.
The concept of family is nothing new to our team in Columbia – this team celebrated a sales staff member marriage and welcomed a new baby. Our family is growing!
Our BOYL team in Charlotte took part in holiday parades in Kannapolis, Belmont, and China Grove, helping to bring festive cheer and celebrate the season to those we service.
We work hard at Eastwood Homes to provide the best quality homes possible for our buyers, as well as the best possible work experience for our employees. In 2024, we were recognized for both! Our corporate office in Charlotte was named in the Top 5 Best Places to Work in Charlotte, NC.
Team Atlanta attended the 44th Annual Obie Awards at the Georgia Aquarium with over 800 Attendees, and won Best Building Design for the Abbeyville at Marble Tree in Ball Ground, GA. In South Carolina, the Charleston team won big at the 2024 CHBA PRISM Awards for their Chatham model townhome at The Landings at Montague for the Model Townhomes $300,000-$399,000 category. Amy Druhot, our VP of Sales in Richmond, won Sales Leader of the Year for the State Association. At the 2024 Home Building Association of Richmond MAME Awards, every sales member from our Richmond team won sales volume awards. This team also participated in Parde of Homes and won awards for two townhome floorplans and two single-family floorplans:
2024 was a tremendous year of growth, teamwork, and great homes built at Eastwood Homes. We look forward to how we will continue to serve our community, buyers, and Eastwood family in 2025!
