At Eastwood Homes, we take pride in our Built With Care philosophy, and it was never more evident than during our recent fundraising efforts for Hurricane Helene relief. In less than 24 hours, Team Eastwood—alongside the Stewart Family—successfully raised an incredible $20,000 to support the vital work of Samaritan’s Purse in the wake of the storm.
As the impact of Hurricane Helene became clearer, we felt a responsibility to help our neighbors in Western North Carolina however we could. Thanks to our team’s incredible generosity, we hit our $10,000 fundraising goal in just shy of 24 hours! Since then, Eastwood employees, family, and friends have raised a total of over $30,000—every cent of which will go directly to Samaritan's Purse to aid their ongoing hurricane relief efforts in our region. Samaritan’s Purse, a Boone-based organization, was an easy choice for us. They are on the ground, actively providing much-needed support to those affected by Hurricane Helene, including disaster relief and rebuilding efforts. We are proud to contribute to their impactful work.
While the fundraiser has concluded, there’s still more we can do to support the recovery efforts. In addition to our monetary contribution, Eastwood Homes is collecting critical supplies for those affected by Hurricane Helene. We concluded our first collection this past weekend, and those donation items have already been transported to the affected areas. We are still collecting item donations at our Charlotte-area model homes until Sunday, November 3rd. These supplies will be delivered to the relief sites the week before Thanksgiving to directly help families and individuals in need. Here’s what you can donate:
